Wow... this has to be the lamest article. Give me a break. Every damn kid from the ages of 16-30 goes over 100mph occasionally. Did the writer not remember his youth? Who gives a shit.

He has got to go. Its obvious he could care less about being on the Pacers. He would also be an awesome addition to quite a few teams. I'm obviously rooting he would go to the Bulls. Do you guys have any other ideas where he would be a good fit?

Re: Boston Celtics 70 wins

I really am impressed at how the Celtics are sticking in it. Whenever they loose I keep on thinking that it will be a letdown and a slide will come. That hasn't happened yet.
I will say tho that I felt more confident with last years Dallas team and their run. That didn't lead to much in the playoffs.
Portland, Indiana, Atlanta
December 27, 2007 by chatham
I'm simply shocked that all 3 of these teams are above .500 this late into the season. I don't think they'll keep it up, but its always fresh to see teams that suck turn it around.
I could care less for Indiana since I hate them... but bring on the W's for Hotlanta and Portland.
Houston Rockets are underachievers.
December 23, 2007 by chatham
I was watching the Bulls vs Rockets game yesterday and saw what Houston should look like. I really don't see how they are 1 game under .500. Just look at their lineup. Yao, Tracy are both really good. You throw in good hard working role players like Shane Battier, Luis Scola & Luther Head. Hell they even have some guys that while flaky can get in a groover like Rafer Alston and Bonzi Wells. Even the erratic and now career dead Steve Francis could contribute if he wasn't such a broken player.
This team must have some leadership issues or something... because there is no reason they shouldn't be a top 4 team in the league with the pieces they have. Adelman as the new coach doesn't seem to be helping either.

I agree with the sentiment that teams should loose. Its all about the draft picks. This 10 game winning streak does give the Trailblazers a bunch of hope tho. Really looking forward to seeing this team more often on national TV as they get better.

Lebron vs Kobe
December 21, 2007 by chatham
It seems everyone has been talking about this with the game between the Cavs and Lakers happening.
Honestly I would pikc LeBron hands down. No question about it. Kobe is pretty awesome but LeBron seems like he is going to be averaging a triple double a season if he really focuses on it.

Bogut is a crappy #1 pick.
December 20, 2007 by chatham
Wow... is he bad. Just look at two of the #1 draft picks ahead of them... they go by the name of Lebron James and Dwight Howard. He is then succeeded by Greg Oden. I have a feeling that Andrew Bogut is going to be a trivia question in a few years. :)

Pistons upset the Celtics.

Wow. Did you see the ending of that game!? Sick
Andre Miller trade?
December 17, 2007 by chatham
I think its about time that he gets shipped somewhere else that he is needed. While he isn't all that amazing, he is a solid point guard. He obviously is rotting away on the 76'ers, a team that is going nowhere this year or next.

So do you guys have any thoughts of what teams he could be good on? He could go to the Celtics and make them more invincible? How about going to Miami... they could use a pick me up there. The Rockets could use an upgrade there as well. The rest of the teams that could use a PG suck and it would be the exact same situation he is in now.
Celtics Rome Visit
December 17, 2007 by chatham
I read this number and it ceases to amaze me. Who would have thought that the Celtics would have gelled this well. I think this has ALOT to do with that preseason trip they had to Rome. It put them into tight quarters and made them bond much faster. This is similar to how you see companies big and small do company offsites. You mix a cool locale into it and then some fun events and I'm sure some beers as well and all of a sudden you have a better appreciation for people.
I think in the future that any teams that make some big ticket acquisitions during the offseason should take a similar tactic. The cost is pretty much nothing compared to what they already are paying guys and the dividend could be huge.

Oh wow... Rucker Park. That is an amazing idea. Really would love to see that happen somehow.

NBA Outdoors
December 15, 2007 by chatham
So I read somewhere that Mark Cuban has been trying to get the NBA to schedule an outdoor game. That is such an AMAZING idea. I have a feeling they would be able to sell out a 80-100,000 seat stadium with no problems at all.The NHL is doing it this year for the first time and it looks like it will be a HUGE success. Here is a link to it.http:/
Dwight Howard
December 11, 2007 by chatham
Ok... so I just need to talk about him some more. When he first was drafted I totally thought he would be a HUGE dud... another Kwame or something. Boy was I wrong. Just look at these amazing pics.

Dwight Howard Post

Another good piece on Dwight Howard. If you can't tell I am quite enamored with his dominance. I think he is one of my top 3-4 players in the league.

Make that 11-0. I hope that when this streak ends that its in some crazy quadruple overtime loss. :) That would just be the ultimate way to go out.
