I don't understand but the Hawks changed their jerseys. Not only that but they changed the color scheme as well. I like their red white yellow combination and find the navy blue to be very boring. Here are some pics of the their past jerseys and finally the present day one.

The mid 80's red and yellow is just classic. Dominique DEFINED it. They also had that crazy hawk logo that looked like Pac Man gone wrong.
Am I the only one that grew up and never even recognized the hawk for years just thinking it was something pac man related?
I agree the red white and yellow were just classic, probably one of these things that are burned into our souls from when we were kids, associated with the NBA, Dominique.
By today's standards that classic jersey's design is a little outdated, yes, but why get rid of it completely instead of updating the design? My theory is they know they suck now, and when they'll be respectable they'll dig out the old uni design.
The new design is unimaginative and grim.
Ohhhh... i like that theory. Whip out the good stuff when they're good and ready. Let the crappy years be associated with the multitude of horrendouse jerseys we have seen.
Of course when they reveal the new retro awesome updated jerseys they also had Dominique, Moses & Spud show up and throw a big party as well.
